The theme of the congress is ‘Unraveling
complexity: from molecules to ecosystems’.
The innovative use of chemicals and
nanomaterials in new technologies, industry and agriculture, in a context of
global warming/acidification, challenges many aspects of the ecosystems
functioning. An in-depth knowledge of the environment, the biological responses
from molecules to ecosystems, and the physiological adaptations of the
organisms is needed and further challenges the scientific community to find out
innovative solutions. The conference will be an ideal platform where to
present, discuss and implement this knowledge and to point out future needs. An
attractive scientific program encompassing 8 different scientific sessions will
be developed over 4 days.
